Everstar Observatory is a very small backyard observatory.

This page is dedicated to the amateur astronomers who are thinking about setting up their own observatory. We'll be covering our experience with this project. Since for us--and certainly for others as well--the investment put into it has been considerable, we thought the information offered in this web site might be useful for those who choose to undertake such project.

Inside the site you'll find what influenced our decisions for purchasing certain equipment, what we think of the equipment itself, issues with our location and all kinds of other information. We'll try to take a few minutes away from the regular excitement to keep the site updated.
