The EverStaR Astro Trailer was engineered to solve a common challenge faced by advanced amateur astronomers: how to safely transport large-aperture telescopes and sensitive gear to dark-sky locations while providing a comfortable, functional base of operations.
Unlike enclosed observatories, the Astro Trailer is a dedicated astronomy support unit—a precision hauler and mobile workstation for field-based observing and imaging. The rear section doubles as an open-air observing deck and workstation, allowing astronomers to operate laptops, reference charts, warm lenses, manage optics, and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee beneath the stars.
The new-generation trailer incorporates off-grid living features, including a twin-size Murphy bed, integrated sink and water system, and climate control through heating and air conditioning. A compact yet powerful power system supports 600 watts of rooftop solar panels feeding a dual-voltage (12V DC and 120V AC) electrical grid.
Connectivity is provided via a Starlink satellite receiver, allowing live imaging sessions, remote system access, or astrophotography data upload from even the most remote dark-sky sites.
“This isn’t just a trailer — it’s an all-in-one astronomy base camp engineered for exploration, endurance, and discovery.”
